After being selected last year to host the Forbes under 30 Summit in 2022, Botswana has been given another opportunity to host the 2023 Forbes under 30 summit which is scheduled for the 19-23 of April 2023
Under the theme “Entrepreneurial Africa” the 2023 summit will be held over three days with the world’s most elite young entrepreneurs and game-changers will again convene in one of the world’s most beautiful countries, Botswana. Across three days in the country’s capital, Gaborone, we’ll harness the power of entrepreneurial capitalism amid the continent whose growth will help define the 21st century.
Hosted in partnership with the Botswana President’s Initiative, this summit will bring together 600 young entrepreneurs and game changers from Africa, Asia, Europe and the U.S. for mentorship, networking and important conversations centered around sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship. This summit will also provide rich cultural immersion opportunities and a rare international networking environment for young entrepreneurs. Also local performers, chefs and entrepreneurs, will enhance the experience with sounds, cuisine and staples of local culture while engaging in unbeatable networking and pitching opportunities.
In 2022, the Summit took place from 24th – 28th April 2022 in Gaborone and Kasane respectively where the Botswana specifically had a total of two hundred (200) local delegates across various sectors such as manufacturing, creativity & technology, fashion design, horticulture, to name a few.
