MASISI’S BULL DONATION

Christmas came early for a 58 year old Mr Selemogo Mokgosi of Dikabeya cattlepost in the Palapye as he was gifted a Bonsmara bull by the President Masisi Bull Donation initiative which began in April 2022.

The Bull Donation initiative aims to improving the cattle value chain and improving local cattle genetics to compete favorably in the international market.

During the ceremony, President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi asked Mr Mokgosi, to take good care of the bull and to explore modern ways of commercializing it through semen preservation and selling its semen.

Mr Mokgosi who already has a total herd of 33 cattle in kraal extented his gratitude to the kind gesture presented by President Masisi and further ensured that the bull will not only be of benefit for him and his kraal but will be of benefit to his community at large.

Today the President will extend his initiative of Bull Donation to Lerala-Maunatlala and Sefhare-Ramokgonami areas.
