YARONA FM’S 2023 WEEKEND LINEUP

After losing some of its dominating hosts due to greener pastures, Botswana’s favourite youthful urban radio station, Yarona FM has introduced its new weekday lineup to members of the media.

The new Programmes Manager, Bonnie Dintwe, the station’s image underwent a facelift that will see its programming in a new direction for the future as the changes have been in motion since the 9th of January 2023.

Yarona FM listeners were also reintroduced to the voice of Oratile Kefitlhile, who has been with the radio station before as show host, producer and news anchor. The Rush which airs between 6am to 9am is hosted by Kagiso Phatsimo (Fox) and Oratile Kefitlhile (Ratie), as well as Wandipa Batisani (Ndeeps).

Yired is a show that runs from 9am to 12pm, hosted by Lerato Modiega (Lerato) which is a show that makes a listener comfortable and how everything happening around the world can affect them. Entertainment, fun and great vibes are three things that define who Kedi Molosiwa is. The name of her show is Out Loud, and it was derived from her bubbly personality. It airs between 12pm and 3pm. On air, Molosiwa is Lezozo.

Hidden Gems (Tuesdays 6pm to 7pm): Kedi Molosiwa (Lezozo).

In Depth (Wednesdays 6pm to 7pm): Oratile Kefitlhile (Ratie).

On Trend (Thursdays 6pm to 7pm): Vincent Roman Matthys (Vincent R.M).

Game On (7pm to 10pm): Lone Ratsoma (Ninah)

Ultimix DJ Mixes air between 10pm and 12am.
