Batswana women from the ages range between 21 and 49 years have been advised to go for early testing for cervical, breast and other cancer screening before its too late.

The Head of Oncology, Dr Tlotlo Ralefala, mentioned during the visit of the Minister of Health Dr. Dikoloti to the Oncology Centre at Princess Marina Hospital (PMH), that many women find themselves at risk of not testing early for cancer and succumbed to their wounds. He advised women to do screenings even without symptoms to avoid late diagnosis.

“The earlier one gets screened, the sooner interventions can be administered,” she said.
