KOFFI OLOMID HEADLINES KGOSI YA MOSADI SHOW

Magdeline Lesolebe famously known as Charma Gal went big and all out as she delivered a historical music show titled “Kgosi Ya Mosadi” to celebrate her musical journey.

The national stadium was a place as she kicked started the event with Betang Pelo ba Morena which made her fans sing along with her. Her dreams were defined by performing to her loyal fans alongside the Congolese legend Koffi Olomide who was headlining the show. ATI, MMP Family and Khoisan helped to make Charma Gal’s dream a reality.

Olomide and his 19-piece band Quartier Latin finally rolled on stage past midnight after a lengthy sound check and opened the stage with Respect, a lovely up-tempo banger which got everyone moving.

Quartier Latin appeared on stage in the absence of Olomide who made a grand entrance clad in his unique costume spotting red, yellow and green, colours mostly associated with central African nations and Loi was played from his hit album released in 1997.

The Congolese captured many hearts with his powerful deep vocals, neatly arranged lyrics and a dozen instruments from his backing band which were perfectly in tune.
