PEOPLE OF NGAMILAND WELCOME THEIR QUEEN
Miss Botswana 2022/23 Lesego Chombo set foot in her home town Maun for the first time after being crowned the new Miss Botswana.
The homecoming ceremony and festivities are scheduled for the 22nd to the 24th November 2022 and the people of Ngamiland were urged to engage in the homecoming activities including her arrival at the Maun airport, visiting the Kgotla and a meet and greet at Maun Mall.
Other festivities are to follow as the reigning Queen will proceed to Sedie Junior Secondary School and Letsholathebe Primary School and wrap up her homecoming ceremony by launching her Beauty With a Purpose Project on Tomorrow.
“We hope to add value to the community through this visit while also securing prudent stakeholder relations with the people and businesses of Maun to ensure that a long and mutually beneficial partnership is formed for future endeavours,” said Ben Raletsatsi of Miss Botswana Organisation.
