EAST AND SOUTH MERGE INTO BIG BROTHER TITANS
Biggie fans will be treated in 2023 as Big Brother Naija is merging with Big Brother Mzansi into Big Brother Titans where your favourite house mates from Nigeria and South Africa will be in the same house.
The show will be available to in 46 African countries and will start to air on Mzansi Magic and DSTV Channel 198 from the 15th January 2023, he ultimate winner from the house will walk away with P1.3 million.
“It has been a while since we have Big Brother show where Africans are in one house, and as a business with competitors we wanted to diversify and re-imagine the formats that we own as a company,” said the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of General Entertainment Multi-Choice, Nomsa Philiso.
She also said the show was a platform for people to pursue their own goals in life and it will be hosted and staged in a house somewhere in Africa. With the emergence of the South Africa and Nigeria, hopes for Big Brother Africa seem to now be a possibility.
The house would bring similarities of the two countries, where there would be cultural exchange as well as showcasing of excellence between these two African countries.
Multi-choice senior manager Content Operations, Sipho Ngwenya said this edition of Big Brother Titans was a way of telling authentic African stories and it was a concept was the second to be implemented in the world, with one done in Europe.
