MINISTER OF HEALTH ATTENDS A HEALTH SUMMIT

The Minister of Health, Dr Edwin Dikoloti, has left over the weekend to Germany for the World Health Summit (WHS) and is to return back on the 24^th of October.

According to a media statement from the ministry the World Health Summit is an annual event that brings together different stakeholders from heads of state, ministers, heads of international organisations, parliamentarians, civil society, youth organisations and the private sector.

During the summit different topics are expected to be discussed including issues on health systems resilience and equity, digital transformation for health, food systems and health, investment for health and well-being as well as global health for peace.
