PAGEANTS ADVISED TO REPRESENT WELL

Mr and Miss Remote Area Development Programme (RADP) beauty pageant have been advised to be good representatives to their home villages.

Bidding to the courtesy call by Mr. and Miss RADP, Her Excellency Mrs Neo Masisi said that the pageants should be good ambassadors of their home towns by working had and show leadership skills by helping their villages with sustainable developments with assistance from the government of Botswana.

Her Excellency pointed out that the pageant facilitates the development of talent and empowerment of the youth as the initiative is of beneficial to the youth. The programmes provided are in line with the Vision 2036 aiming to leave no one behind.

The Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Honourable Talita Monnakgotla stated that the programme gives the youth the opportunity to explore, be seen and take a dip in showcasing their background being their culture.
