PETERE TOPS RADIO CHARTS
Petere continues to top the charts in all radio stations since its release in August.
Tomeletso Sereetsi, a guitarist and contemporary folk singer, said the song had been risisng to the top on both Gabz fm and RB2 Top 40 charts shows.
The official music video premiere for the song was in August 10th and it was welcomed on Facebook with 199 000 views to-date and 18 000 on Youtube.
“It talks about a man called Petere who deceitfully leaves a partner he cohabits with in the morning to go marry another woman. I wanted society to confront itself on this issue and hopefully find ways to address it,” he explained.
He also said the song pin pointed a public discussion around social issues and the song release had kept them engaged, citing two big jazz festivals and corporate gigs.
