Kago Dichabe is a 21 year old the founder and director of CK Foods, a business which focuses on the production of dairy products being drinking yoghurt made from scratch with Sago Pearls starch.

The young business minded young man hails from Tlokweng having being born in Gaborone and raised in Tlokweng. Despite having ups and downs with failing at school and being a trouble child, he did not let that stop him from re-inventing himself and finding motivation in selling muffins with his friend to start up his journey into the business space.

In 2021, that’s is when he got into dairy business by finding motivation from foreign dairy products taking over the dairy market in Botswana and found the import- export ban of 2021 an opportunity to ground his business and make way for producing local dairy products.

Having being part of the Future Makers business mentorship program and being mentored by Mr Obonetse Fulu who helped him structure his business and to find tricks of the dairy market of Botswana. He produces the drinkable yoghurt with sago starch that is extracted from a pith of a tropical plan and it has a soft light and chewy texture.

The product is good for skin, it is high in proteins, calcium and vitamins. It is good for digestion as it contains proboitics, helps regulate blood pressure and reduces the risk of coronary heart disease. The yoghurt is available in 330ml and 500ml and it is also available in three flavours which are; blueberry & granadilla, vanilla and mixed fruits.
