OKAVANGO MUSIC FEAST TWO DAY EVENT

Get your outfits, shoes ready and lift your glasses up as the Okavango Music Feast event is returns on the 24th of December and it will be held on the Okavango River Bridge.

The event organizer, Kebadile Wasenda mentioned that the event will be start off with a Pre-Party Picnic and a Beach Volleyball at Okavango River Bridge as a way to sell the bridge and reviving the volleyball sport with efforts of transforming the lives of people living in the Okavango.

“So the 24th is going to be boat cruise, mokoro drive, games, cocktails just by the beach side of the Okavango River and the bridge. The event is open to the public and all they have to do is to donate P5 to be part of the beach volleyball,” she said.

Since the event is divided into two folds of sessions one on the 24th the other being the main event of the 25th of December, the first part of the event would include DJ Rasbanda (Rb2) who will entertain patrons on the turntables while Benediction 007 and Pricillah BW will be the hosts. The Namibian artist, One Blood headlines this year’s event and will perform alongside DJ Guyvos, DJ Rasbanda, Yannick Disho, Mactyro, DJ KSB, Ray D Spear, Lopza & Wetu Musica, Tumza & The Big Bullet and DJ Latribal.

Wasenda said the main event will take place on Christmas Day and tickets are available for sale for P150 standard, P250 double and P500 VIP.
