The new iPhone 13 is finally here. The long anticipated model has finally landed. Tech giants Apple took the wraps off its latest iPhones, and as expected, there are four of them; the iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max are the same size and shape as their predecessors, but there are some differences.
On Tuesday, Apple introduced the next version of its popular smartphone, one of several device announcements made during a virtual event at its headquarters in Cupertino, California. The new phones, come with a larger battery, more storage, a new A15 Bionic processor, a smaller notch and an abundance of new camera features. The base model of the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini are available in five colors: pink, blue, midnight (black), starlight (white) and Product Red. And the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max get a giant camera upgrade as well as a new display with 120Hz high refresh-rate display.
Apple says it improved the camera in the iPhone 13, allowing it to capture more light and color, and added cinematic mode to videos, giving them a filmlike quality by automatically changing the focus. The iPhone 13 Mini, also debuted on Tuesday, contains the same capabilities in a smaller form factor. One of the chief complaints tech reviewers and early adopters have had about the last few iPhones is that the screen hasn’t changed much. This year, Apple has slimmed down the notch on all four iPhone 13 models so that it’s not quite as obtrusive as on previous generations—it’s 20% smaller than on iPhones past.
