FULLBRIGHT ENGLISH TEACHING ASSISTANTS (ETAs) IN BOTSWANA

The U.S. Mission’s three newly arrived ETAs are part of the second cohort to participate in this important Fulbright exchange program here in Botswana.
The Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Program places recent college graduates and young professionals as English teaching assistants in primary and secondary schools or universities overseas – improving foreign students’ English language abilities and knowledge of the United States while increasing the U.S. student’s language skills and knowledge of the host country.
The ETA team from the U.S are Norbaya Durr, Justin Sleppy, and William Darragh who will be working at the Maun Secondary School in Maun, the Tsabong Unified School in Tsabong, and the Mogoditshane Senior Secondary School in Mogoditshane.
ETAs may also pursue individual study/research plans in addition to their teaching responsibilities.
