Ozi  F Teddy signs new deal with Vib Mobile Botswana. Notably one of the most controversial artists in Botswana, Ozi F Teddy (real names Ted Phaphane) has always caused a stir in society with his explicit musical lyrics on every song released; however this persona has helped shape his career and rise to fame and also put him on the market as one of the trendiest artists locally. 

The rapper went on a protest through the release of his song BodyBag, in which he de-cried the status quo and the socio-economic setbacks creatives and the nation are facing amid the Covid-19 pandemic. While most feared this would imprint negatively on his career, they stood with him even through his short lived arrest. By August 18 the track was the number 1 album and number 2 album in the whole country.

A viral star, Ozi F Teddy was able to secure a digital content distribution contract with ViB Mobile Botswana. The brilliant artist with a knack for business, is an avid entrepreneur known for his Lord of Mercy merchandise and was able to put together BodyBag merchandise that started off with only a 100pieces but the demand has grown exponentially. He is also on a #meetand greet pop up tour in different parts of the country, distributing merchandise to fans.
