How Do I Export Beef To Senegal-Pearl Ranna (First Lady Of Agriculture)

How do I export beef to Senegal-Pearl Ranna (First Lady of Agriculture. Pearl-Gaone Ranna is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Agrinvestec-an agricultural consultancy agency and also a professional farmer and Agriculture policy analyst.

A week back she published on her socials an opportunity that lies in West Africa’s Senegal hidden in beef trade. According to Ranna beef in the Supermarkets of Senegal is P175.80/kg;  “An opportunity for those interested in exporting beef within the African region where preferential trade benefits exists and continues to improve as a way of creating a conducive trading environment for the Entrepreneurs in Agriculture & Farming”.

Ranna returned to her socials to brief fellow passionate agrip-preneurs on how to penetrate the Senegalese beef market:

“It is time for Batswana to take full of opportunities that exist within OUR African continent. Exporting Agricultural commodities or any manufactured product that is non-agricultural is a clear indication that we are now becoming increasingly aware of the importance of trading with one another. There is so much money to be made amongst us Africans.
Yesterday I had a long discussion with my brother here who is also the CEO of the Federation of West Africa Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI) which makes business (beef trade included) happen for 15 West African countries – they currently import Beef from 3 regions; Southern Africa, EU & Latin America. Therefore; exporting Botswana Beef CANNOT be hard for you with the right information, connections and compliance, which I will break down for you later on.
We had a thorough discussion as to the protocols on trade and investment for Botswana in beef and other meat products from the Smallstock sector… Like I said before, the African market is lucrative for our beef sector, due to TWO factors; demand and price. The current population of Western Africa is 413,391,232 as of Wednesday, August 18, 2021, based on the latest United Nations estimates. Western Africa population is equivalent to 5.16% of the total world population. Western Africa ranks number 2 in Africa among sub-regions ranked by Population – there is a strong appetite for trade and we cannot let the opportunity pass is by due to the fear of success!,”
