Information Management Analyst (HR)

Description: Debswana Diamond Company would like to invite suitably qualified innovative, results oriented and self-driven individuals to apply for the position listed and described below and join a professional team driven by service excellence, where the demands of the business are met by encouraging team work and addressing the needs of the individual.

Purpose of the Role

1. Analyses and integrates business cases and other initial project/business change documentation and translates them into technical requirements and system specifications that make up the solution blueprint.

2. Manages the implementation and support of systems, and platforms ensuring end-to-end service agreements are being delivered according to overall service delivery model and performance.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinates and manages projects/initiatives as and when required, taking cognisance of project principles, project scope, specifications, time cost parameters, health, safety and legal requirements.
  • Ensures that the IT architecture reflects the need for legal and regulatory compliance, the ethical use of information and business continuity.
  • Monitors relevant new technology developments from the business’s point of view
  • Monitors, analyses, tunes and optimizes business processes and interfaces in cooperation with business process owners and the IM function
  • Supervises a team of IT Administrators
  • Gather, analyze, define and document business requirements
  • Support SAP HR systems, including updating configuration tables, troubleshooting and investigating incidents to identify root causes, fixing issues and/or working with SMEs to fix any issues and testing of system changes
  • Supports IT HR systems within set IT Service Management Frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT etc.
  • Controls the IT architecture design and checks compliance with architecture guidelines and standards
  • Defines, implements and monitors the application management processes that enable the best practice configuration of SAP HR systems
  • Work closely with vendors and 3rd party contractors, when required, to accomplish objectives

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Information and Communication Technology or Equivalent or relevant discipline or equivalent

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Prepares and coordinates the section’s budget within approved parameters
  • Adheres to all safety health and environmental policies and procedures in areas of responsibility

Experience

6+ years of IT experience in Application Development of which minimum of 3 years experience should be on implementing and configuring SAP HCM and Success Factors.

Legal Certification/Professional Registration

  • SAP certification in SAP ERP Human Capital Management solutions will be an added advantage
  • Project management certification/training (in any of the recognized training like Prince2, Agile, ASAP, PMBok etc) will be an added advantage
