“It is trying times, people are losing their jobs and this is bringing a lot of financial instability in people’s lives. People are finding it hard and hard to keep up with bills and put food on the table. I am grateful of all the financials difficulties I have gone through, I can related with someone going through a similar experience because I have walked through the similar path.
Facing financial difficulties is extremely stressful. You have to deal with the constant calls from your creditors to which you do not have an answer. You feel deserted because no one understand what you are going through. You will sometimes blame circumstances but this will get you nowhere. Let me share some of the things you can implement to deal with your financial challenges:
1. Know that the challenge will pass and allow yourself to go through the process. Do not give up.
2. Adjust your lifestyle immediately: your spending is a function of your lifestyle choices, by adjusting your life style you will automatically adjust your spending or budget.
3. Pick that phone. Do not send the wrong message to your creditors, not answering the phone is the quickest way of not showing willingness to cooperate and work through your challenges with your creditor.
4. Keep your communication lines open: be very transparent with your creditors, explain your situation and what you can afford to pay based on your current circumstances.
5. Do something, you are obviously skilled in one or two things, turn that passion into an income stream and
throw that income towards your debt.
It shall be well”.
